Rail Transport

An intermodal rail contract with Transnet Freight Rail enables Bidvest SACD to offer a comprehensive rail service in Southern Africa.

Road Transport

Bidvest SACD has transport capabilities throughout South Africa providing both short and long haul road transport services. We provide an efficient oncarriage road transport service between Depots (Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg) on a depot-to-depot basis, or directly to the customer.

Sea Freight

We facilitate international import and export business by providing competitive sea freight rates for all our customers’ to any destination globally.

IMPORT AND EXPORT DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT

In ensuring we maintain our high standards of efficiency, our team of specialists can manage the necessary import and export documentation, these include:

• Container Terminal Orders (CTOs)
• Freight Transit Orders (FTOs)
• Cargo Dues Order (CDOs)
• Packing lists
• Rail lists
• Customs (SARS) and Statutory documentation for import and export cargoes can be arranged by Bidvest SACD through regional and international partnerships within the forwarding industry
