Additional infrastructure

We have recently added the services of a reach stacker to our ever growing list of resources. This technological improvement will ensure offloading at any area in our depot, increase flexibility and increase our turn around time, giving the customer a quicker service.

Internal Learnership Programs

SACD have recently launched two programs available to employee candidates.

Freight Handling learnerships

The course was first offered to employees through LBT Learning PTY (Ltd) in May 2007 and runs for a six month period. Alumni receive a National Certificate in Freight handling (NQF3) which is internationally recognised.

LBT Training is a South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) approved outcomes based training institution for staff training specifically.

We have started a learnership programme with the 2 ladies Felicity Sekhosana and Gloria Lediga which is going well

ABET Training

Outsourced to Media Works, an institution based in Rivonia which focuses on N.Q.F (National Qualifications Framework) training, the program allows employees the opportunity to grow both as individuals and employees through Adult Basic Education and Training.
