SACD Proud of Keeper Safelock System28/02/08
During December 2007 SACD started testing a new freight security system and SACD is proud to report that the testing of the "Keeper Sealock" security seal used on their containers is proving to be a success. The seal is currently still in the testing phase on certain international high risk deliveries.
The device is made from a steel cable between 3 and 5 millimetres depending, and is encased in a cast zinc body which locks the bars of the container to the handles to provide maximum security for the client’s shipment.
Used on a variety of cargo crates such as intermodal and ISO containers, this multipurpose seal is the latest in high-end freight security and is designed to keep prying eyes and hands out of the goods until they arrive at their destination.
JJ van Jaarsveld, the Operations Manager of SACD is pleased with the success of the device. Jaarsveld acknowledges the need for the Keeper Sealock and hopes that the seal will soon become the standard throughout SACD’s international operations.
