Rail Transport Mode

Southern Africa has an excellent rail system in place, making the transportation logistics of moving goods in this way simple and popular. An intermodal rail contract with Spoornet and a partnership arrangement beyond South African borders is what makes rail transport so successful. With SACD rail transportation logistics services we will transfer your containers between any destinations in Southern Africa. SACD Rail Freight transportation logistics currently handles over 50 000 of these moves a year.

Road Transport Mode

Road transport is a great option when transporting goods around South Africa. Due to the excellent quality of South African roads and easy driving distances between destinations, using the roads makes transportation logistics simple.

SACD has over 200 trucks that provide short and long haul road transport services around South Africa. Our excellent transportation logistics management means that we can also transport over height and over mass containers by prior arrangement.

SACD Freight, Durban provides an efficient on-carriage over night road transport service between our Durban and Johannesburg operations. On average, six trucks leave Durban daily and our excellent road transportation logistics management services ensure that cargoes are available the next day for importers/agents to collect their goods in Johannesburg.

In addition, we offer a weekly on-carriage road transport service to our Cape Town and Port Elizabeth operations. The frequency of this service can be extended depending on volumes.

Sea Freight Mode

To facilitate international import and export business SACD Freight offers sea freight services. We have excellent relationships with all shipping lines which enable us to get your goods from any destination, to any destination. Our transportation logistics experience means that your good will arrive anywhere in the world on time and in perfect condition.
