SACD Freight provides a sophisticated intermodal service to Nissan South Africa that includes rail and road transport from the ports of Durban and Port Elizabeth - and ensures that all containers are delivered to the Nissan plant in Pretoria within 7 days after completion of discharge of the vessel.

The service involves close communication with Shipping Lines, Spoornet and South African Port Operations. The staging of full and empty containers (Niscon) is undertaken by SACD Freight at an interchange facility at the Nissan plant in Rosslyn near Pretoria, in-line with the SACD Freight's integrated cargo systems.
